Every Week

Every Week 25

We're throwing it back today to a shoot I did with the 2016 Baylor Soccer Seniors. These girls are all-around studs. For those of you who don't know, I have played on the Baylor women's soccer practice squad for the past three years. It has been a blast getting to keep up with soccer since I've graduated high school. Even though they kick my butt on the field most of the time at least I get to call myself a D1 athlete, a women's athlete ;).

Left to Right:

Katie Daigle, Hadley Young, Anjadai Seals, McKenna Merten, Ashleigh James, Jordan Hatler

Every Week 24

When I heard that I was going to be 1 of 5 guys out of 40 students on my study abroad this summer, I was a little nervous. I needed at least one guy that I could have a beer with or go on an adventure. I was lucky to get two, one of whom is Will Housewright. Will is a gentle giant who loves soccer. Especially Germany soccer (unless USA is playing, of course). I've really enjoyed getting to know him so far this summer and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks and the experiences we'll have together. Will is a good dude so I'm glad we got this rainy day shoot in.

Every Week 23

Jillian Roberts is a Senior Business major from Plano, TX and I've known Jillian for a few years now and she is a constant source of laughter and joy. Her quick witted comments will leave you on the ground laughing. It was fun walking around Maastricht with her as we took these pictures. Just thinking of times that I've spent with her makes me laugh. Like that one time she got her hair caught in a bush. Classic. I'm excited to hang out with her more this summer as we travel Europe. I almost forgot to mention that she loves ice cream. A lot.

Every Week 22

In the last two weeks I've been in 9 different countries. It was so nice to get back to Maastricht on Sunday and just relax. On Monday I asked my friend Aimee Ihlenfeld if she would like to go do a quick shoot. She didn't have plans so we walked around the Guest House, where we're staying this summer and we got some awesome shots with the unfortunate overcast weather. Aimee is from Chicago, IL and will be a junior at Baylor this next year. She doesn't like rules, always has a smile on her face and is always down for adventure. I'm glad she's on this program with me and I can't wait to hang out with her more.

Every Week 21

So I've been in Europe for the past week and it has been an experience of a lifetime. Although we'll be living in Maastricht, Netherlands for the rest of summer, we had a fantastic group trip with my group of 40 from Baylor organized by Millennium Tours.

Here are some shots from my iPhone that I got this past week!

This was taken while enjoying some tea and a "snowball" (a German pastry) in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany; a quaint medieval town where we stayed.

Taken at sunset in Lindau, Germany; a beautiful little island where I also had a delicious "Special Bagel Burger" which was suggested by a local. Some good times with good people.

This was taken from the bus on the way to our lunch in the Swiss Alps. If you closed your eyes for a minute you could miss a view like this. I wasn't going to let that happen.

We took a train up to Mt. Gigi where we had a nice lunch this shot was from our ride down.

This is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever been in. Ottobueren Monastery was absolutely gorgeous. When we arrived, a service was just ending and so when everyone who had attended left I jumped in the aisle and grabbed this shot. I'm so glad I did.

Montreux, Switzerland was probably my favorite place that we stayed. Our hotel, Eurotel, was right on Lake Geneva where we had a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps and a couple of my friends and I decided to wake up early for the sunrise. Yes this mean less sleep but it also mean the got to see God show off. He painted us a beautiful sunrise for us to enjoy but before he did, He lowered the moon just over the Alps.

Not too long after, as we were sitting on some rocks by the water a few swans passed us just as the sun was hitting the mountains in the background. Could this sunrise get any better?!

As if this trip couldn't get any better, we take a Lake Cruise from Chillon to Vevey. Before the boat came, we were able to walk around.

Shout out to Stephanie for letting me take this cool pano of her with the Chillon Castle on her right. We toured the castle just before this and it was so neat to read about all the different things that happened hundreds of years ago in that castle.
