Freshman year was full of meeting new people and Kara Miller was one of them. Kara is one of the sweetest girls I know and as you can see below, her smile is contagious and can light up a whole building. This was one sweet adventure that we had off-roading and hiking through the brush to get to this mini forest and capture these awesome images.
Now that I've shot 6 girl shoots in a row, I'll be moving on to some dudes. Stay tuned.
I met Julia Derdas the summer before my freshman year at Line Camp and we've been friends ever since. I had asked Julia if it was okay if we woke up early so that we would have good lighting and she responded with, how early? She agreed to wake up at the crack of dawn to hang out with me and we had a blast. A time full of laughter and good ole fashion hangs. To top it off we stopped by Cafe Cap to grab a good breakfast. I'm pretty excited to share the images we were able to get!
It was so fun hanging out and shooting with Caroline, Kaitlyn, and Molly this week. These girls are awesome and although it was 50° and windy they fought through with smiles and laughter. I'd say the first roommate shoot of the year was a success. Five weeks in and I'm excited to see who else the project will allow me to connect with.
Amber Katynski has been a friend for four years now and after every time we hang out I leave feeling heard. Amber has a unique gift of listening to people, asking authentic questions that beg authentic answers, and pushing whoever she comes in contact with to be better. Amber and I took an adventure that included a short hike, jumping over walls and scaling a mountain of rocks. It was one to remember. Here are some shots from our time together.
Wow. One minute I'm sitting at my desk getting some work done and the next thing I know I'm picking Blair up and we're headed to catch the sunset. Blair Levesque is one of the most genuine people I know and her smile lights up the room. It was an absolute blast getting to hang out with her and create these amazing images! We liked them so much that I think we might even do a house shoot with her roommates!
It's going to be hard to beat this shoot and we're only three weeks into this project!
